While a music student at North Carolina State University, Daniel studied piano technique under internationally-acclaimed classical pianist Dr. Olga Kleiankina and voraciously learned jazz standards under the tutelage of Durham bassist Dr. Jason Foureman, Raleigh-based trombonist Dr. Wes Parker, and Charlotte jazz piano legend Dr. Noel Friedline. He now lives in Durham and continues to play jazz classics at homes, restaurants, and corporate locations.
